Dinoland Memorial Day '09

Definately a must see in UTAH!!
Even with it pouring down rain, we decided to spend the weekend in our camper and hike through some of the most beautiful land in the USA.
This is the print of hundreds that were permenantly cast in the stones of the Dinosaur National Momument. This is a Disolaposauris something from a long time ago. Currently they were all under water but still worth the 2 hour hike. Megan hiked about 5 miles that day without a word of complaining.

The front of the Utah Dinosaur Museum. This was a great museum. There was a lot to see. The batteries went out on the camera but we can't wait to go back!

Josie Morris' Cabin. A tough old bird that lived in the 19th century style without running water, telephone, or power. She homesteaded here in Dinoland until 1960 when a horse took her out and she passed from complications. We took a 2 mile hike through these canyons and fell in love with the area. They called it the modern day Utopia.

These are some of the Pictographs from the Freemont Indians that inhabited the area.

Dinosaurland! There were bones in the rocks that were visible to the naked eye through natural erosion. Really cool. See you next year.
